Description
A temporary prop anchoring device used where floor slab
anchoring is not available.
Also used in locations where access for deadmen is not suitable.
The steel ground anchor uses 4 steel pins (800mm x 20mm)
to anchor it into the ground.
Steel pins should be driven in the ground at approx 45°-60° from
vertical into specially slotted holes in the ground anchor base plate.
Fixing for the prop foot is provided for in the ground anchor base plate. See attached illustration.
Note:
Limit of only 1 prop per ground anchor.
Not to be used for panels over 5 metres in height.
Also not be used in poor ground condition (wet, loose or uncompacted soil)
and should not be used without advice from a Hi Prop 2000 representitive.
